When setting up a web site in IIS that utilizes an existing web.config file you may receive the following error when attempting to configure the website (i.e., setting the default document):
There was an error while performing this operation.
Details:
Filename: \\?\C:\inetpub\wwwroot\uluroweb\web30\web.config
Error:
This typically occurs when plugin information is being used in the web.config file that is not installed in IIS. In most cases this is due to the missing plugin "URL Rewrite".
To correct this simply install the missing plugin/module.
