If you want to just use the global settings, leave the Use Global check box checked.  By default, a customer will use the global settings.

You do not have to setup the outgoing email, if you are using Mandrill.  You must, however, setup a from email address.

You can setup Mandrill Tracking accounts for a submission type.

Click on Mandrill Settings

Uncheck Use Customer if you want to use a different key for the submission type.  Enter in your API and Web Hook Keys.  Enter in the From Email Address.  This is required for opt outs.

Enabling Tracking for events

To track emails in the system, you will need to enable tracking for each event.  Emails are not tracked by default.

You can also setup the registration and password emails to be tracked.

Under Web Setup for the customer, select Advanced, Page HTML/CSS and Emails.

Check the Enable Tracking box on each email type you want to track.

Adding attachments to HTML Emails

You can now add attachments to HTML Emails.  When setting up an HTML Email event or template, you can add attachments by click on the Attachments button.

This will bring up a form where you can enter or select the attachments.  The file must be accessible to the computer or user running the PDFEmail program or the email service.

Enter the path and file name of the attachment or select by clicking on the ellipse.

Only certain file extensions are allowed for attachments.  It should be noted that very large files may not reach the recipient due to limitations of their email server.

Allowed file types, currently, are .csv, .xls, .xlsx, .bmp. .gif, .ico, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .txt, .doc and .docx.
