In order to meet the criteria required to achieve USPS postal presort discount, the weights and thicknesses of each piece must be known and calculated on the 3600 report. Uluro has the ability for you to specify an individual page, envelope & even insert's weight and thickness so it can be calculated for presort. The following information describes the setup and defines certain sections in uSetup related to this.
**Satori Users: The following information is for Presort utilizing "Mixed Weights". If you are not permitted for mixed weights then you will set the piece weight and thickness in the presort template within the Satori Presort Wizard (RPPSSQL.exe).
To set the weights and thicknesses open uSetup and double-click on the submission type you would like to configure.

Inserts
This button will bring up a window that allows setting weights and thicknesses of any applicable inserts going in the mailpiece. These insert values link to the Sys_insert1-10 variables set in uCompose.
Note: The sys_insert variables must be set in uCompose in order for these weights and thicknesses to be calculated for the piece.
