Change Input Page and Page Setup
“Change Input Page” and “Page Setup” commands are available in Ucompose version 5.0.4.166 or later.
Change Input Page
The “Change Input Command” allows the current input page to be changed to a specific value or by an increment. The value may be a fixed value or a Variable value. After the change the output page may be restarted.
The “Change Input Command” can be added anywhere in the Disp tab of Ucompose. To Add Click the
on the Disp Tab.
This will display the Command Selection window.
Select the Change Input Page command and click OK.
This will display the “Change Input Page” form.
Command Name is an optional name for the command.
Max Times/Page is the Maximum times per output page that the command will execute. This will prevent an infinite loop if the Restart Page is checked.
When Restart Page is checked, after changing the input page the remaining commands will be skipped and output will restart with the first command in the Disp list.
Selection Value Type of Fixed allows entry of a fixed value to use to determine the Input page.
Selection Value Type of Variable allows selection of a Variable value to use to determine the Input page.
Selection of Input Page of Increment will increment the current input page by the previously selected value.
Selection of Input Page of Set To will set the current input page to the previously selected value.
Click OK when complete.
Page Setup
The “Page Setup” command allows the execution of a command (or group of commands) before an output page is started. With the Use of the “Page Setup” Command Variables can be defined and calculations performed before the Output page is started. This can include the “Change Input Page” command and the “Assign Field” command. Once the Input page or the Fields are set in the “Page Setup” command, a condition on the “Output Page Definition” can be used to determine the correct page type for the output.
Only one “Page Setup” command can be used. It is added by clicking the
on the Disp Tab.
This will display the Command Selection window.
Select “Page Setup” and Click OK.
This will display the “Page Setup” form.
This displays information about how to use the “Page Setup” command. Any Non-Mapping command that immediately follows the “Page Setup” command will be executed before the Output Page is started.
There is nothing to change on this form. Click OK save.
For a Group add a group and move to after the “Page Setup” command.
Mapping commands will not be executed since there is not an output form when the “Page Setup” is executed.
